Birth control pop or coc recommendations ??

I have never been on birth control pills only iud but I don’t want that option bc I don’t want something inside me plus had painful cramps w it tomorrow I have my appt to ask for them but I’m confused on which ones are best I don’t want to gain weight or get acne so I’m scared of those side effects.

Based on your medical history and talking your doctor, they should recommend what they think is best to try first. It may take a couple tries to find the pill that works best for you.
Nearly every medication out there has the possibility of side effects, like acne or weight gain. This is especially so in hormonal medication like birth control. Key word: possible. It doesn’t mean you’ll get them. 
Personally I'm on LoLoestrin Fe 1/10.
It's the lowest hormonal BC pill available. I love it. No negative side effects whatsoever for me, however everyone is going to have a different experience with medication in general.
Make sure you express all concerns to your doctor and you understand how to take it, what to avoid alongside it, when you're protected, etc!
