Has anyone dated a man with a child from past relationship? Did it work out ? I’ve seen everyone says to run from that situation but I want to hear it from people who actually experienced it

Im married to a divorced man with kids. They were married and almost married. Now we have 2 kids and 4 grandkids. My kids and the grandkids are such good buddies. I love my step(which i hate to call them step) kidds so very much and i love every minute with my grandkiddos. My advice... love that kiddo like it is your own and i prayed so hard i could get along with the ex just like i would everyone else and God has let that happen for the most part. Know that that kiddo was there before you and dont let jealousy(not saying you do just advice for down the road) get a spot if your honey needs to put that kiddo first and yall will be amazing together.

If the child is still fairly young, run for sure. Maybe a good 6+ should be fine.

My now husband has 3 kids from a previous marriage and our 11 year anniversary is this year.. never had any problems with his previous partner. We have two boys of our own. I say if you really like the guy stick around for a while see how things pan out.. but my only advice to you would be don’t meet the child until you are certain you will be there for a long time.
