Ttc positives and negatives but also had a cycle that was weeks late

Just finished a 7vday cycle very heavy previously had positive and negative tests blood showed negative but just took another test and it's positive what else could be wrong? And how soon did ppl get pregnant after their cycle from coming off bc pills haven't taken any since November just had a cycle it was horrendous just stuck and not sure what to think about this positive test??? Any help please
