The flu and breastfeeding

I think I have the flu and I'm breastfeeding my 8 week old son. Have any of you had the flu and breastfed? Did your baby get sick, too? How bad? I'm really scared that he's going to catch it. Going to the doctor tomorrow.

****I'm a bit frazzled by the responses on here. My question was not whether or not o should continue to breastfeed...I know that I should continue to. My question was whether or not you've had the flu while breastfeeding and if your baby got sick as well, if so, how bad?
