At a very young age I got very sick of ovarian cyst. At age 18 I had to take special birth control even though I was a virgin. To try and make the cyst smaller and prevent it from keep growing and becoming more painful. Nothing seemed to help. It kept growing to the size of an orange I had to have it surgically removed. My doctor told me that when I got older I couldn't take any birth control because the hormones will be bad for me and one of the many side effects of birth control is cysts. I'm 29 now. I'm tying to be careful and not have kids. Is this true? Will regular birth control make me sick? Since I have history of ovarian cyst? Or is there a special kind with low hormones that won't be so aggressive with my body. Any one knows about this?
