Norerhindrone pill ???

Question

I have been on yaz birth control for years. But lately I’ve been concerned about the side effects of it. 
I talked to my doctor today and she wants me to try a mini pill. Without estrogen. 
I’m waiting for my pharmacy to get it ready. I’m not sure what the pill is called. 
But are any of you on this kind of pill? What was your experience like using it ??

The mini pill needs to be taken at the same time every day. It is not like the combo pill. Ovulation is not constantly suppressed with mini pills either. It prevents pregnancy other ways. 
Again, it needs to be taken at the same time daily to be effective.

You have to take it at the exact same time every single day. Talk to the pharmacist and read the prescription insert about any questions or information you may have. I personally didn't like it but it was suggested because of my blood pressure and to help get me to bleed on time more. My periods were often late before then. I didn't like it bc of how it changed my mood, libido included and I was spotting or bleeding a bit for the first 3 months. (which isn't uncommon) If this birth control isn't for you, then I recommend condoms.
