Pros and cons of having a baby?

Hey girls I’m 28 and I’m planning to build my family soon and kids is what I’ve always wanted but lately I’ve been kind of scared and indecisive and I know kids can be a hassle,stressful and expensive so is it that bad how every mom says? I’ve been told “don’t have kids”while having some of their own and it’s heartbreaking how can you EVEN!!! say that and proceed to tell me their reasons and I go to not wanting any whatsoever so I just need some positivity and help here .

The cons include: sleepless nights, hearing crying and possibly screaming, dealing with tantrums and attitudes, and depending on the man not having help. These are the cons that I can think of. 
The pros: when your baby smiles at you for the first time, when you get them to fall asleep and get to see how peaceful they are sleeping, getting to hear them laugh over the silliest things, when they melt into your arms when they’re toddlers, the newborn scrunch, when they say I love you for the first time, when you teach them all the things you wish someone taught you and you find comfort in knowing you’re raising capable children who will be capable adults, when they bake you treats for the first time.. and all the other times, when you take them on vacation and get to experience the world through their eyes and the first time again, when you take them to their first date, when you see them graduate high school and college, when you get to see them walk the aisle, when you get to see them have kids, when you can have family vacations with them as adults and get to be their friend. 
Now I’m pregnant with my first child and I was much like you. I’m due any day now but those are the pros I look forward to. Yes the cons are pretty bad and annoying but they only stay as babies, toddlers, children, and teens for so long. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience that not many people have the opportunity to enjoy or even enjoy. It’s once in a lifetime because with each child you have is a new personality, a new human. The joy that is to come cannot compare to the pain you may feel now. When all those pros happen, you’ll forget about the cons.

When you're a senior, will you regret not having any kids of your own? Will you wish for family visits and grandkids to brighten your day? The amusements from your youth won't apply to you then. What will your soul be craving? Motherhood isn't for everyone but in your heart you will know if the pros outweigh the cons. A lifetime of love is worth it in my opinion.

The pros far outweigh any cons. A lifetime of love is worth it always in my opinion. I have a very difficult 7 year old but damn do I love that kid to death even with the attitude the talking back are I get frustrated at times but that’s life.

That’s crazy to hear that other mothers only have negative things to say about being moms. I guess every situation is different though but no matter how hard it can be when they’re little I’ve never regretted having my children. My daughter saved my life and my son has been another huge blessing in my life. They both changed every aspect of me and made me whole. You’ll never experience a love in your life like the one you feel when you have children. The first time you hold and see your baby a whole new love and light will open in your life that you might not have known was even possible. It is stressful. It is expensive. It is chaotic. But it’s also rewarding. Fulfilling. Wholesome. So so so pure. The best thing I’ve ever done is have children and the best thing I’ll ever be is a mother to my children. I hope whatever you decide you do because you chose it and not from what others say. One thing I’ve never ever heard an elderly person say is they regret having children in this life.

It’s sad to hear so many people have negative things to say about children. Is it hard? Absolutely! Don’t most good things in life take time and effort? I’m a stay at home mom and some days are definitely harder than others but I love my son more than anything in the world. Watching him learn, and grow is the most incredible thing Ive ever experienced. Just hearing him say “momma” melts my core. I certainly think some people shouldn’t have children, but I personally can’t imagine going through life not knowing the love and admiration you get from your own kids 🩷

I only have cons for myself so I don’t have any pros to share with you, but don’t let other people scare you away if it’s something you really want. Only you can come up with reasons on why you do/don’t want them.
