Pregnant after one normal period post miscarriage ??

Question

So I’ve just had a positive pregnancy test after a complete miscarriage at 7.5 weeks on 22nd February. I had my period return 4 weeks after bleeding subsided and am due again in a few days. My HCG levels went down to 6.1 on 7th March. Surely this isn’t HCG still in my system? 2 strong looking tests but so hard to not be second guessing. Anyone have any experience with this?

No tests attached to see but providing your hcg went below 5 or your tests showed negative i would be inclined to say it could very well be a new pregnancy especially if you had a period after the last hcg reading at 6. Best thing to do is get your blood drawn to check what the hcg says. Wishing you the best.
