I think a change of scenery would be good for my husband and I; I'm considering asking him about moving to Myrtle Beach. It wouldn't be right away because we don't have much in savings, but maybe within the next year. I went there for a week with my family a few years ago and just fell in love; I've always loved being near water and the sound of waves crashing. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice about moving/living in that area, what the job market is like/average pay, and the typical cost of living (renting apartment or house, cost of food, fuel costs, car/housing insurance, cooling/heating cost, ect). I wanted to have some info from those living in MB before I said something to him. Right now we live in the snow belt and Myrtle Beach is a 16-18 hour drive from home. Thanks!
