Baby aspirin?

Has anyone here been told by their Dr to take baby aspirin to prevent preeclampsia later in pregnancy? I’m only 12 weeks and Dr said I should start taking just to prevent. Is that normal? Is there any side effects to it? TIA

Im on it but not sure what for. I think its for lowering miscarriages too. I have had 3 but never pre-eclampsia. Im 20 weeks Sunday

It’s the standard of care at this point. Almost everyone I know takes it.

My doctor recommended I start taking it at my 8 week appointment. I’ve been taking it since 8 weeks 3 days. I haven’t had any side effects.

I’ve heard it can help. It’s one of the few medications that you can take while pregnant. But all medications have side effects.
