TMI Question

My husband said there was thick white discharge & a white clump after sex. He didn’t show me, only told me after so just going off of his description. He said almost like a paste, like was on baby’s when they’re born. Very odd. What could this be? No other symptoms of infection or anything else. This happened on supposed first day of ovulation phase, however cycles have been somewhat irregular due to the IUD removal. I’m 43, and just had mirena #3 removed 3 months ago so all kinds of new cycle & hormonal things happening for the first time in most of my adult life. never seen or heard of this before though. Is this cycle related? Ovulation related? Infection? Thank you!!
