Excessive Discharge Normal?

Question

Hi, I’m not well educated about my body but I’m trying to learn. Is it normal to have excessive vaginal discharge and a really warm vagina (feels hot when I wash downstairs) during the week surrounding ovulation? Is this something that my doctor needs to be aware of?
I’m in my 30s but I’ve only just gotten my menstrual cycle back after years without one due to PCOS. So I’m not used to the signs that come along with a regular cycle.

Excessive discharge during your fertile window is very normal & indicates your body is preparing to drop an egg, most women know their ovulating based off of their discharge. As far as it being warm down there, I’m not sure about that.

Both sound normal. You likely feel slightly warmer due to the extra blood flow to the vulva during ovulation.
