Painful period

So I have pretty painful periods most of the time and I am starting to think that something else may be going on. I am currently on my period right now (day 2) and have been having tons of loose bowel movements (sorry if tmi). The cramps are quite intense at times and I have a dull achy feeling in my back. Also have an extremely heavy flow, having to change my tampon after less than an hour. Just wondering if anyone else has gone through rough periods and if this could be a sign of endometriosis. I have a physical booked with my doctor but just wanted to see if anyone else out there can relate!
