Is it possible to miss Lh surge

If only testing once a day and it wasn't the same time everyday? I used the clearblue digital advanced. The directions said test one a day. I stopped testing and we didn't really bd because my husband was sick. Thanks! I'm cd 27 and af is super early, I'm confused because I tested cd10-14 and all negative opks so I'm just curious
