Red irritated skin and pain during sex

I noticed that I had some irritation down there but didn’t think anything of it until I had sex and the pain was nonstop it was hard to concentrate on pleasure I think it might be a yeast infection but I’m not quite sure I have no abnormal discharge or stinging while peeing all I have is red beds tenderness and now pain while having sex
