When do you find out the gender?

Hello fellow mommies to be! 
This is my first and I am so ready to find out the gender of my little peanut. I have heard many different stories of when people got to find out the gender but most were from 25 years ago. At this day and age I know it's earlier on, so at what week do we find out if it's a boy or girl? And what's the earliest?

I just had genetic testing at 10 weeks.  Just a quick blood draw.  It costs extra (insurance doesn't always allow, for us the max price to pay was $350).  But, you get a really great assessment of some disorders and get the gender at 11 weeks!  It goes by different names, Harmony prenatal testing, counsyl, etc

You can do some blood tests at 10-11 weeks to screen for genetic diseases and Down syndrome. The results take 2 weeks and should also reveal the sex of your baby.

I'm going to get a private ultrasound at 15 weeks! There's a great little place where I live that does gender reveals

Typically when the doctor does the 20 weeks ultrasound you find out but a blood test can determine the gender as of 10 weeks.
