So I don't post on here often but I feel like I could use some other moms support at this time. Just would like to hear what others experiences have been or just an encouraging word would be nice too. I went into my regular ob appointment on Friday and my blood pressure was high for the 3rd time and so she wanted me to do a 24 hour urine collection but the more we talked about my symptoms (dizziness, headaches, nausea, and just over all feeling funky) she sent me to be monitored over night at the hospital. When we got there we had the sweetest nurse who was so amazing at her job. She immediately noticed my heart was really irregular skipping beats all over the place and at a rest rate of 110-135. My oxygen was also dipping below 92. They started to run every test imaginable With no results. Over night my heart rate was at a steady 135 all night and my oxygen was about 90. So by morning they decided to do a ct scab on my lungs just in case. I honestly thought it was going to come back clean and I just had a virus or something. The doctor came in a few hours later and told us I have a blood clot in my lungs luckily they caught it. Now I have to take blood thinner shots twice a day in the stomach until six weeks after baby girl is born and also she is coming early and I have to get induced at 37 weeks unless she comes on her own (I've been contracting regularly) or another emergency comes up. It's been a crazy couple days and they said I'm still not in the clear 100% and told me a bunch of warning signs to look out for. I'm just overwhelmed and feel like crap lol
