How many baby bottles did you purchase overall?

I bought one of the baby bottle sampler kits to determine what’ll be baby’s best bet. Since I plan on doing combination feeding (if it works out) I’m just wondering how many overall will you have to purchase including after newborn stage.. 
A lot of moms rely on buying up to three to prevent a load up of dishes, while other moms agree that more is convenient especially if they’ll be in daycare.

We have twins. We have 12 bottles that we rotate. Also one of the best items we bought was a bottle washer. We got the momcozy one for $300. It’s priceless. We never have dirty bottles as soon as they’re used the go directly into the washer and it’s run when full at 4. We wash 3 loads a day minimum. It also sterilizes. I’ve put toys, pacifiers tethers and pump parts in it.

Get ones that you can just change the nipple size. My girl did great with avent bottles. They have an insert to help reduce colic and it can be taken out when they get older. You can get the smaller size bottles but we just used the 8oz ones and changed the nipple sizes when she got bigger. I believe we had a total of around 10. It is nice to have a few extra when they first come home because you won't want to clean multiple times a day.

I believe I had about half a dozen 4oz bottles and the same for the larger bottles. Truthfully probably had more of each but that’s the least I had. Not sure if this is your first baby, having more made it easier yes there’s more to clean but when the little one literally eat sleeps burps pees/poops sleeps repeat sometimes you don’t get to wash bottles as frequently as you’d like. 
I personally used Dr. Browns bottles and Phillips Avent bottles. All my kiddos were gassy.

My boy needed to start the bottle on the 2th day because off weight loss. I bought avent bottles upfront because my sister had recomeded them. But he ended up only drinking from the dr brown. He is now 5months and mixed feeding breast and bottle. I have 2x 4oz for the first 3 months and 2x6oz +1 4oz at day care. I always cold clean them right after use and once per day hand clean them hot with soap.

i got a set of anti colic bottles with different sizes plus it came with a bottle warmer i havent had my baby yet but i feel like this was a good choice

I think I had 6 of the four oz for when she was little and then maybe a few more of the larger when she got better that they kept at daycare. I also combined feedings. We used dr brown because the doctor recommended for combined feeding with the pace feeding style. Dr brown were expensive so I just got a few at a time as I needed them so I didn’t end up with a ton.

My son was exclusively bottle fed. i started with like 8 different brands but he was starting to reject some, and switch to Lansinoh per my lactation consultant. I bought like 8 of the smaller size and then 8 of the bigger size as he grew. Then , because the only other bottle he didn’t reject was Dr. Browns, I switched to Evenflo glass bottles (like a Dr Brown knock off with less parts) and I bought 12 (they are very affordable). I don’t like doing dishes and it just makes it easier for travel. If my next one is only bottle fed too, I’m getting 6 more.

We use the Dr. Browns glass bottles and have 6 of the 4 ounce and 8 of the 8 ounce bottles. They come with size one nipples and yiu wont have to change them until 2.5-3 months. It's nice having plenty if you can.

I purchased about 40 and I bought all kinds of different brands on Amazon. They have tons of cute bottles. I also purchased a bottle washer/sterilizer. I had 2 of those.
