Is it true our babies feel us when we cry?

I keep seeing people say online our babies can feel when we cry and they feel all of our emotions and they end up crying and nervous when they come out. But it’s so hard not to cry, whether it be happy tears or sad tears, I’m so hormonal and I cry at least once a day lol. But everyone saying that makes me feel so darn terrible.

Not true. I had a super shitty pregnancy and cried pretty much every day. Started with HG, told we may need a TMFR, had a high risk pregnancy, our dog got cancer and had to be put down, and so many other trivial inconveniences (car breaking down, household appliances breaking, unexpected bills, work stress) etc. 
My baby is 1 year old and literally is the happiest kid I’ve ever experienced. She has maybe had 10 bad days. I’m sure this means she will be a hellion once she hits the terrible twos, but for now she is so laid back and easy.

I think the just is not to be as sad because babies feel the sadness the crying is not so much because right we can cry when we are happy to

Not true lol. They don’t come out feeling any of the negative emotions you felt during pregnancy.
