Is it true that baby's gender is connected to morning sickness?

Question

A couple of my family members that have had both genders say they were very sick during girl pregnancies, but experienced no nausea during their boy pregnancy. Just wondering if anybody else has experienced pregnancies with both genders and your experience with the morning sickness!

Nope, not true at all. Every pregnancy is different. Im pregnant with my 6th. 3 girls 3 boys. They’ve all been different. Some of my girls I’ve been very sick, while this boy pregnancy I was sick up until 17 weeks! It was bad. I’ve been pretty sick with all 6.

Not necessarily. Although it was true for me. My 1st pregnancy with my girl I was throwing up almost like every other morning. My second girl I wasn’t sick at all & now I’m pregnant with my boy and I have not been sick at all. Just depends on your body, but not necessarily true.

I don’t think it’s true, every pregnancy is different! with my son I had extremely terrible morning sickness up until 13-14 weeks and then none at all

I don’t know if it’s true or not. But it was true for me. With my girl I was so so so sick. And with my boys little to no sickness

I was extremely sick with my daughter the entire pregnancy. I had 3 cousins who were all pregnant with girls… none of those 3 were sick at all. I was the lucky one lol

Don’t know what I’m having yet, but have Hyperemesis gravidarum apparently the symptoms you experience are tied to the health of the sperm that fertilised the egg rather than anything to do with gender 😮

Oki so I’ve never been able to give my piece when it came to this as I had only boys 😂 but I’m currently 17+4 with my first girl and I can tell u symptoms wise there was a difference for me but it was only mild I never had symptoms with my boys where as with this one I had nausea not like to the point of throwing up just a feeling oh bleh and get more intense until I ate it’s still there now so I just take it as a sign it’s babies sign to make me eat as I wasn’t a huge eater before hand
