Pelvic Rest? Help?

First time being pregnant .. and some things I’m confused please be of help… 
Doctor recommended pelvic rest? What does that mean? What can I do or cannot do?

What the previous commenter said. No sex, nothing inserted, no orgasms. Basically anything sexual is a no go (for you)

I was high risk with my last pregnancy and on pelvic rest. My doctors stated that meant no sex, nothing inserted into the vagina, no orgasms - basically nothing that could cause a contraction or otherwise infection.
