I used to get them awful - as in I couldn't function normally without painkillers because of how bad the cramps were. I still get them now on birth control but they're super mild compared to when I was off it.

During the first couple months they were awful. I talked to my dr. and she said it was my body adjusting to the hormones. Now if I have any cramping it's just a day or two

My cramps are worse on bc! But they only last a day.
