How likely is it to get a positive after 10dpo being negative?

We’re not trying to get pregnant but I decided to take a test because of some abnormal spotting that lasted a week in the middle of my cycle this past month. Took a test at 10dpo and it was negative. Never bought another test but I also never started my period. I’m a week late today and I’m stressing myself out so bad about this. A few months ago I ago a skipped a period one month so I’m hoping it’s just another month like that

Very possible. I was negative at 10dpo and positive the next day, not even 24 hours later.

Definitely possible to have a negative at 10 dpo and a positive a few days later.

I got a negative at 10DPO & a positive at 14DPO, which was the day of my missed cycle this pregnancy. You need to take a test if you’re a week late
