Bible Babble

My almost 6 year old has been asking me to read the Bible to her. My husband and I grew up attending and participating in multiple church fuctions a week, but our children have never been. The way we speak and naturally praise God is in our everyday walk. She started watching animated Bible stories online by herself and recently found my Bible and wants to read "God's book". I remember reading the book of Proverbs with my mom when I was about her age and Im thinking about starting there. Does anyone have any recommendations of verses or whole books to study with her?
