Blood test to find out the sex ?

How many people here have had this blood test done and how accurate are the results ? Has anyone been told they were having a girl via the blood test and ended up with a boy or vice versa? I just wanna know the stats before looking into it . Thanks

I had my nuchal translucency ultrasound today and these machines are the best in the business when it comes to ultrasound technology and she said she thinks it's a boy , she then turned on the 3D and boom a little penis straight between the legs, stood out haha . I showed the pictures to my obstetrician and she agreed . I'm not getting my hopes up completely but I'm so hoping that is a little penis ! I have a daughter so it'd be nice to have one of each :)

I had the blood test done and it was correct! I'm 33 weeks with a baby boy!

My doctor said its more accurate than the ultrasound! I had the Verifi bloodwork done at 11 weeks and found out in a week. As far as stats I don't know but talking to the other women that have also had it done it has been right for them. I'm not due until June and our next appt to see baby is Tuesday but I feel pretty confident about it!

I had the genetic testing done (Maternal 21) and because the babies dna is in your blood they can tell you what the sex is if you want to know. It's definitive unless you're carrying multiples, then I'm not sure if both would show up. I found out at 12wks that i was having a boy.

It's 99% accurate according to my doctor (I did the Counsyl test). She said it's even more accurate than an ultrasound because it's based on chromosomes.
