Rejected multiple times

So last night and today throughout the day I’ve tried to initiate with my husband and I’ve been rejected. I’m not upset about it, it’s his body and he’s allowed to reject me of course, I’m just confused because if I ask if he’s okay he’ll laugh, doesn’t say anything or just move away from me. At this point I don’t know what to do but I know that I’m done initiating ever. Also we had talked about it before and he said he would never reject me (we already barely do anything now) so that threw me off too. What would you do? How long would you wait to initiate again if you would?

Edit: it was twice last night and twice today it’s not like I’m harassing him none stop I just thought his mood would change because he has a high sex drive. I tried talking to him about less intimacy and that’s when he said he would never reject me and to initiate more that’s why I did. I asked if he was upset with me.
