So, when I went to my appointment last week, the doctor told me I'm a carrier for GBS bacteria. I have to do intravenous antibiotics while in labor to ensure the safety of the baby. He was very nonchalant about it, but when I looked it up, if the baby does get it, it's very dangerous. The chances are low as long as I take the antibiotics, but I'm still worried. I'm just looking for reassurance. Anyone out there have this? How did labor go? Was the baby healthy?
