I smoked for 11 years, quit cold turkey as soon as I found out I was pregnant i was around 5wks. I'm sorry but i call BS that quitting cold turkey is more harmful, continuing to smoke is more harmful, and selfish

I smoke I've been a smoker for ten years.I'm on my third pregnancy.I also smoked with my first two who came out healthy and perfectly fine and no low birth weight for either but I didn't ever smoke as much as I did before I was pregnant.my doctor says to keep it a minimal of 2-5 a day until you can fully quit all together bc your body is so use to smoking trying to stop cold Turkey I'll put you at a greater risk of a mc bc it puts so much stress on you and the baby.just try and slow down until you can quit.I'm down to about 3 a day.

I quit smoking a week before I found out I was pregnant! Best decision of my life! 
My SIL smoked the entire time she was pregnant with my nephew, he is the sickest child I have ever been around. It's truly sad. He turned one on December 1st and spend that entire week in the hospital. He has basically spent his entire first year in a hospital. He has server asthma and lung issues. 
Believe me if you could see him you wouldn't want to smoke while pregnant! Don't do that to your child.

I smoked ciggs in the beginning but stopped baby didn't ask to be here so in the best intrest of her i stopped
