Natural birth or needle in the back !?

I just want to know all the mommy who has take the needle was it worth it any long term problems? And to all the mommy who went natural how was it?

Natural. It hurt, but it really wasn't all that bad. It's pain with a purpose, and you get breaks between contractions.

I did natural and will do it again. Yes it hurts but I could do it the first time hopefully I can do it again this time

I had a epidural and barely even felt him do it, the contractions were much worse than anything I felt from that (and I haven't had any problems from it)...but my labor ended up progressing quickly enough that the epidural really didn't work, so I kind of had a natural childbirth anyway! I'm impressed that I did it with virtually no pain meds though, especially considering that wasn't really my plan!

Au natural! I was and still am scared about having an epi, so I'm going natural with my daughter too. I have a high pain tolerance so its not unbearable, but I give so much credit to the mamas who get an epidural you have more balls than me!! :)

As a mommy who has now done both, natural with my first and needle the second time. I would still go natural. Unfortunately I didn't get to choose with my second. She would have been natural too.

I had no problems with an epidural. I plan on getting another with my second son. It made labor so much better and I was able to enjoy my son being born.

I got an epidural. I honestly didn't even see the needle. She did it right after my contraction. It feels like a pressure but it was not painful at all. My epidural took to my right side only so I felt everything but it did take away the contractions. I would do it again. I did not have any long term effects from it.

I went all natual with my first at 16 years of age and hope to do so again now a 28 with my second ♡.   Yes it is very painful,  but It is over with once your bundle arrives.  A lot of people say they have to long term effects but I've heard otherwise from older woman.  The older they have gotten the more noticeable they've said the back pain has become.

There is no right or wrong way to do this, you just gotta choose to do it your way.  Everyone has different tolerance and if you know you can't then don't try to please anyone.  Make a choice and stick to it.  Ask your l&d support to help you go through with your choice.
