Someone asked me this question today. Their reasoning: as humans we have an innate urge to reproduce. People who are homosexual cannot reproduce naturally. Therefore it is a disorder because people who are homosexual don't wish to do what the human biological systems tells it do in order to reproduce.

I dont know how to answer this and have been thinking about it a lot now. My response was: there are many people who are born heterosexual who do not desire to have kids either do you feel those people have a disorder too?. But I feel that it isn't a good enough answer. Because I feel that heterosexuality isn't the standard of what is or should be considered normal or abnormal. What would be a better answer?
