Preeclampsia?

Anyone dealing with preeclampsia? 
I have all the symptoms except protein in my urine. My Dr is planing to induce me at 39 weeks but lately I've been feeling terrible. I'm hoping to be induced around 38 weeks. What are your experiences??

I never had high BP before and my due date was 2/21. On the morning of 12/28 I woke up with my face swollen, a migraine and couldn't see very well at all. I waited to see how the day played out and it seemed to just get worse where I could hardly see. I called the Dr. And they made me go straight to the hospital. Thankfully I did as my condition kept declining. They were able to give the baby one shot for her lungs before they had to take her that same day. They had to put me under and give me platlets. The baby was 32 weeks and 4 lbs 1 oz. They put me on magnesium for 24 hrs and I couldn't see my baby as she was in the NICU. I still didn't feel well and started hallucinating and seeing things in the room that were so scary so I told my mom and she made me tell the nurses. I knew that the visions were not real but I didn't know why. I needed sodium and two units of blood. So New Year's Eve I was having a blood transfusion at midnight. It was the worst day of my entire life. It took me a few weeks to deal with all of what happened to me and to adjust to what was real and what wasn't. My baby gets to come home today 1/14 and I am so happy that everything worked out and I called when I did! If you do not feel right, my advice is to call the Dr. Immediately.

I'm in the same boat and was just put in bed rest. I'm 36w4d... I have high bp, swelling and am developing preclamsia.  I go back for an appt this week. My dr wants me to be at least 37 before they induce me. I'm nervous about having a c section if they induce. Anyone else? Good luck.

I had my 37 weeks appointment yesterday and my OBs nurse did my blood pressure and said it was high , she checked again and just walked out and grabbed another nurse because they know ive never had high bp ever and the other nurse checked it twice and they had me lay on my side for 15 minutes and my on checked it , and then didn't say anything and went on to check my cervix and afterwards told me to head across the street to L&D.. They kept me over night and did a 24 hour urine collection to test the proteins. My bp is still jumping up and down. They're keeping me over night again and my dr said if the proteins test normal but my bp is still up and down they'll induce me or if the proteins test comes back in the morning with something wrong they'll induce me. Regardless it's 50/50 that I'll have my son tomorrow or be sent home so I guess we'll see but if they induce I'll be delivering 3 weeks early

I have all the symptoms as well except the protein in my urine! I started feeling worse and worse and just found out I have a blood clot in my lungs so I am on blood thinners. But they said since I feel so crappy (besides having a pulmonary embolism) that they are inducing me at 37 weeks because they don't want me getting more sick from high blood pressure. It took a lot of complaining to get the doctor to take me seriously though. Hang in there! I know it's super rough.

Preeclampsia.org has a lot of information that might help you assess your symptoms. Don't be scared of the stories they feature. They are purely there to help promote awareness. I'm 35 weeks and always feel silly asking a million questions, but it's worth it for the peace of mind that you'll feel when you get some answers.

And again, please do not disregard how you're feeling AFTER the baby is born. My friend's preeclampsia progressed to HELLP syndrome and the doctors were too focused on tending to the baby to notice she was in serious pain. It's awesome to trust your doctors, but don't forget to look out for yourself too. Fortunately, they've really come a long way in recent years to treat preeclampsia without a hitch.

I went today and had high blood pressure so they monitored me and everything came back fine and my BP went down, bloodwork was good and there was no protein in my urine... I've been feeling just fine lately so idk what's going on but it's got me kinda worried. He said baby girl is real healthy and looks great, I can't go back to work and he put me on bed rest.

I am 35 weeks type 2 diabetic with preeclampsia. My dr just took me off work. My pressure is not terribly high right now thankfully but I'm afraid. Dr wants to induce at 38 weeks.

My best friend had it years ago. The docs were not all that forthcoming about it so be sure to ask a LOT of questions and let them know if anything isn't feeling right. Even after your little bundle o joy has entered the world. It's a common condition but it can progress to a serious level very quickly in certain cases. Cheers to the little one inside!

I have Chronic high BP that's gone kinda crazy lately. I'm not spilling protein either but was put on bed rest. My doctor said she'll induce at 39 weeks unless she makes her apearence before.
