Over 40 and trying ?

I've just turned 43 years old and and have just started ttc with my partner after having 4 kids previously....anyone have any tips or words of encouragement? !

I just turned 42 but I've been ttc for 2 yrs off and on. I had a miscarriage 4 years ago with my partner of 16yrs. I was devastated. I had one when I was 19 then got pregnant the next month, but I had a super hard pregnancy and birth. he's 22 now and I never thought about having another until I found out I was pregnant this last time. but now, after 40? I'm just wondering if it's even a good idea
