My ex cheated right in the beginning of our relationship. We were young, and in college, and it was dumb. He put me through hell but for some reason I stayed - I think saw that he truly made a mistake and was a good man despite it. We stayed together for four very good years and broke up for unrelated reasons. We even remained friends for many years after the break up until life just took us in different directions and we grew apart. I don't condone cheating, obviously, but in the right circumstance, it is possible to repair the relationship and move on.

My SO and I both lost a close friend to suicide a few years back.  We both ended up cheating.  I don't think neither of us really functioned properly for a few months.  We found our way back to each other and have worked through it now.

Me and my s/o have been together almost seven years over three months ago I cheated, it was out of no where never even had thoughts of cheating up until that point, things had been bad fighting Pettie arguments and something inside me snapped for the first and last time, I regret to say that after that took place a couple of days later I left we were separated for a month and we both wanted each other back. I told him about my infidelitie before we reconnected and got back into a relationship again , we are still together and dealing with the aftermath and I can tell you rite now it's not easy on both ends but we're trying to make it work

Personally I would never be able to marry someone or carry on a relationship knowing that someone cheated on me. It wouldn't feel right

My boyfriend and I have been together for 9 months today! We love each other and have since the day we met. About a month ago I made the mistake of cheating on him . at that time we had been living in different states for a little over a month. I felt lonely and I was weak so I slept with another guy. I felt so bad I left before we finished. I regret everything about what I did . my boyfriend and I went on a Christmas trip together a few days after he found out and yes it was a little weird but we were fine. He said he wanted to work it out! So he went back to Florida and I will be moving back there in about a month . that is only if he still wants to work it out. He said he's so confused right now because some days he thinks we can work it out and some day he thinks we can't. He knows I regret what I did. And I know he loves me . he just doesn't know if he can get past this
