I just wanted to take a minute to say how proud I am of who I have become! I turned 18 last January and wasn't sure if I would graduate the following May because I had missed so much school due to my medical problems. I did graduate though, on time! I had been planning to attend a private university, that I had been dreaming about for years, in the fall. Due to finances, that was no longer an option for me. I thought I would be a nobody and have nothing to be proud of because of my choice not to attend school. I decided I needed to do something for myself. I moved out on my own! I pay all of my bills on my own! I had an amazing job opportunity pop up and now I make more than either of my parents! I am not turning 19 in a couple weeks and I can't believe how much I've accomplished!
