Hi just after some advice really. I used to work in a nursing home and recently got a job in the NHS as an auxiliary nurse. I've just finished my 4 weeks notice and start my new job in 2 weeks. I've been trying for a baby but gave up last month because of my new job position. Obviously everybody gets pregnant when they least expect it so now because haven't been in my new job long enough I can't claim NHS maternity pay and really worrying about the financial side of things when I take time off and I'm also stuck with when to tell my employer I'm pregnant because of probationary period?
