Sueing my child father for full custody.

After my husband and I have allowed my daughters father to see her, keep her for weeks and come into our home to visit. He wants to stop paying to help support her. While I have only gotten $300 for three months as of this month he does not want to pay that. I have been verbally abused by him for six and a half years now and i am done. I am going to ask that he be relieved of his child support duties and parental rights as long as he will give up full custody.
