Does baby always "drop"?

Question

I'm 31+6, and my baby has been sitting very low, head down, the entire time (since about 15 weeks). Does this mean my baby won't "drop" before labour, or does that always happen? I can't imagine how she can drop any lower...?

My babies never dropped. I've always carried low. Last week my little man was head down in practice mode and it felt like he would fall out. There is no lower

I always carried low but with this pregnancy I can tell he dropped because i never felt so much pain in my life!!

This is my second viable baby (I have 4 angels and a 2 year old boy).  I thought my first son sat low... yeah not until this second boy started getting big enough to feel!  This baby has been right down in the pelvis the whole time.  I feel his hiccups right above my pubic bone and when he stretches out it feels like he is trying to claw his way out of my cervix!  No kidding, it's a very sharp twinge of pain.  I've only had one kick to my ribs and that was when I was sitting forward and hunched over.  I look like I have already "dropped".

Our childbirth class teacher said no, they don't always drop til sometimes right as labor starts.

My daughter didn't "drop" until she came out.  The nurses kept saying she looked like a csection baby bc her head was perfectly round.

I dropped with my first three but with baby number four he didn't drop till I was about to push......I went in 3 cm dilated and wasn't making progress so they broke my water and almost instantly he dropped and I had to push it was about 30 mins from 3cm and water break to 10 cm and fully delivered so no baby does not always drop

I was worrying this too. If my little go gets any lower, he'll be on the floor. 😂😂
