Congrats!!! And you should be just fine! Just make sure your listening to your doctors. Im overweight as well with a thyroid problem, and currently pregnant with fraternal twin boys and they are as healthy as can be! Since your having twins your doctors will keep a closer eye on you. Just talk to them and ask them whatever you need to. Thats what they are there for

I'm obese too, and at 19 weeks my babies have been healthy and growing great. This is my 4th pregnancy and I have been heavy for most of them.

With a prior pregnancy I only gained 8 pounds, which was okay and baby was fine. I lost 15 pounds this go around and haven't gained anything back. You likely wont need to gain as much weight as they recommend for twins. However my Doctor told me not to focus on the scale focus on making healthy and nutrious choices. Eat healthy and drink lots of water, try to take daily walks.
