Went to the doctor here's what they said
So I went to the doctor yesterday due to having irregular cycles that range from28-48 days and the effect it can have in pregnancy here's what she said: tried to sum up as short as possible
She first told me of course they would not start any testing of any kind until we try for 6 more months. Grrrrrr! I'm 26 no health issues , never was on birth control , don't smoke , very healthy. She said that being the case at my age and ttc#1 sometimes it takes your body a little time to grasp the idea of getting pregnant
Next she said do u do ovulation tests: my answer was yes. She said as long as I'm getting a positive that means my body is working correct regardless of my cycle length so that was a positive and I don't need to worry about no ovulating during each cycle whether its a Long or short cycle
Then she told me for 3 months put away the ovulation tests , stop temping, no online groups , just have sex and don't track anything. She said my mind might be my biggest issue. She said I'm concentrating too much on timing and tracking which is probably increasing my stress and our
Mind can be a big factor in ttc
She told me if after 3 months I'm still not pregnant then go back to tracking for 3 months and if I'm still not pregnant they would then start testing
Although I wanted a clear cut reason she was probably the nicest doctor I talked to and we discussed several other questions/concerns about ttc so If any one has a question for me let me know :)
