Jealous or possessive?

My boyfriend and I are in a argument because he asked me if I text guys or talk to any. I openly responded yes and he did not overreact but I could tell he was upset about it. It has been a conflict in the past where we went through the same thing. He wants a girl who completely does not talk to any males and is now questioning if I'm actually the one for him. Any thoughts or tips for me would be great !
