Abuse ?

So tonight my boyfriend came home from a week of business he was shaving his face and I grabbed shaving cream and started rubbing it around like a joke, thinking it would be fun and quit and my boyfriend told me to quit, I didn't. I was playing then he started doing it but in an angry way. And pushed me against the door and yelled & then I grabbed his chest to push him off and he grabbed and twisted my wrist and pushed me into the door screaming in my face... This happens a lot.. Is this my fault ? Is it abuse? I was seriously trying to play around...
