8wks 3ds Ultrasound

Today I heard the baby's heart beat for the first time. Last time I went to the doc I was 5wks and 6ds. That was back in December 23, 2015. According to my calculations I was suppose to be 9wks today. Anyhow doc never told me how fast heart beat was going. Is my first baby. Does heart beat rate appears in the ultrasound pic? Or doc suppose to tell you? Help please 😁
