Long story short, after 3 months and he gave me herpes simplex 2, I moved in with my boyfriend and he's been taking care of me for over a year of me not having a job.

When I did have a job my mother as charging me 650 every other week to live with her and was very abusive.

She claims she has every right to hate him for giving me a disease he didn't know he had.

He claims he is sorry and will spend the rest of his life trying to make it up to me but she has no room to talk because he rescued me from her many times after she beat me or threw me through a window.

Lately I have been distancing myself from her because she has been lying about having cancer, trying to get me more in her life.

Not really needing any advice just wanted to vent and see if anyone else has a strained relationship between their SO and parents.

Edit: I was told if I ever tried to leave she would throw me out a window so I had to wait for her to leave the house for more than 10 minutes to get all of my stuff. She is a hermit, doesn't leave for more than 5 minutes to get cigarettes from a gas station down the street.
