When/How should I tell my family, that lives far away?

The baby will be grandchild & great grandchild #1 For my side of the family and I'm debating on telling them via Skype soon or wait until I fly home in Dec, but I'll be 16 weeks then.

Awe! I think telling them in person would be the most memorable. Especially seeing as it's the first grand baby and great grand baby. I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my first and he or she is the first grand baby and great grand baby as well. I told my mother rite away, but didn't tell the rest of the family until I was 12 weeks. And I did that over the phone. I wish I could have done it in person. Would have loved the reactions! Congrats btw!
