Baby looks like it has a recessed chin?

Hello ladies. My husband has me a little worried that our baby has a very bad recessed chin. When we had our 20 week ultrasound the doctor said everything looked good so I'm assuming nothing is wrong, but I have heard baby's having issues getting milk with recessed chins. I also have seen that this seems to be a common worry and most the time the babies jaws/chins fill out more later in pregnancy of after birth.  Please tell me your experiences! Thank you.

Honestly, if the Dr didn't mention it...everything is probably fine and just shadows and lighting. Ultrasounds aren't perfect images. I have pics where my daughter's hands look like claws, but when she is perfectly still you make out perfect little fingers. If the babies head is tucked in an odd position the features don't come out as well. Plus, 20 weeks they still have a lot of growing to do. This was my 28 week ultra sound and you can tell what I mean about the hands...lol. You can also see that 2 months they grow a lot!!!! This is DEFINITELY not how she looked at 20 weeks.

He has plenty of time to grow still! My sisters daughter had the same issue but hers was genetic through babies daddy. Her chin filled out a little before birth and my sister was still able to breast feed, she just used a nipple shield for about 6 weeks. Which actually helped my sister adjust to breast feeding easier.

My baby looked the same way in his ultrasound, and actually still looked that way after birth. We were worried he was going to require some serious orthodontic/jaw work in his future. After the first few weeks though, his face took shape, and he has a very normal chin now and is absolutely adorable!

In one of our ultrasounds it looked like he had no chin I was kind of nervous that he was going to have some kind of birth defect they said everything was fine though. He is here and has the perfect little chin it was just the position of his head in the ultrasound making it look non existent.
