I feel preservative-free is the way to go, but any of the flu *shots* are safe (unsure of the nasal mist safety, it is a weakened -not dead - flu virus). The flu shots all include the H1N1 which is the flu virus that was particularly deadly for pregnant women in 2009. 2009 was the first year of the H1N1 vaccine and was a separate shot that year. Regardless, the H1N1 is still a violent flu with a poorer prognosis for pregnant women. For your own safety, it is highly recommended to be immunized. The intramuscular vaccine is safe during all trimesters.

Got mine yesterday. Ask for the one without preservatives. You don't want to get sick with a baby growing in your tummy. At least gotta try to protect yourself.
