Last night, I went out with my brothers, only people I ever go out with. I got back at 2 A.M., which is a reasonable time for me and my wife but I have to admit, I do feel a little guilty about leaving my wife home now that she is pregnant. I mean I normally go out more than she does and it's usually every 2 - 3 weeks or so, just with my brothers to a local bar or something like that. But I feel bad knowing that my wife can't go out. I know she's already doing everything by carrying our child to term. And I have completely taken over all of the cleaning, cooking and helping my 9 yr old daughter but knowing that she can't go out makes me feel bad for going out. I read, that during this time father need time for themselves to release any anxiety they may have and just for fun before things get really hectic. Plus both of my brothers are fathers... Anytime else feel bad about doing things that your pregnant partner can't or have your partner made you feel guilty about doing things she can't? If so how did you deal with it?
