10 week appointment and heartbeat

I had an appointment at 10 weeks today. My midwife said it can be hard to detect the heartbeat with a Doppler at 10 weeks, and she couldn't find it. They were kind enough to let me have an ultrasound and they found the heartbeat - it was 165 BPM and baby measured normal. Phew! If you don't hear a heartbeat at 10 weeks with Doppler it's not something to worry about without another look with an ultrasound.
