What do first time baby kicks feel like?

I'm a FTM and I'm 18 weeks. I've been feeling something that I can only describe as similar to gas, so I don't know if it's the baby. For you mommas out there, what did first time baby movements feel like to you? It's like a pop in my stomach, that's what it feels like

Im a FTM and im 21 weeks with my baby girl, I noticed it to be a popping feeling but wasn't really sure as it kind of felt like a tummy rumble. Definitely felt them at 20 weeks, they are like weird thuds in your belly, or like someone is flicking you from the inside it's such a weird bit cool feeling?

A "pop" is perfect term. For me is hard to describe. Not quite gas, def movement. An alien inside you? 😂 But if you're that far along that's probably baby ☺️

That definitely sounds like baby movement, and good timing for it too. With my daughter, it felt like she was rolling over and over again. With this baby, it's definitely more of those "popcorn" feelings. The first time I felt this baby move was at 13 weeks and it felt like gas, except it was at the very front of my uterus, so I'm thinking it was baby. Yay! So excited for you!

At first I felt like gentle tickle, but on the inside of my stomach. That was around 13-14 weeks. Then I started feeling single pops between 14-18 weeks. I'm 19 weeks tomorrow and have started feeling much more general movement. Sometimes it feels like someone pushing/pulling my organs. Lol or like he's swimming back and forth. It's a very odd feeling to be honest. It's exciting, but it feels so unreal! 😆

It starts off feeling like popcorn popping, or little flutters. Give it a couple weeks & it will be full on kicks to where others can feel it too :)

I would agree with the "pop" feeling. I furst felt baby around 14 weeks but it wasn't distinct up until a couple weeks ago. 20 weeks now and I definitely feel little jabs and kicks, sometimes stronger than other but still not consistent! To me it feels just as it is, like something small poking,me from the inside out :)
