Factor V Leiden and pregnancy
My ob has referred me to a specialist in the city (2 hours away) to be assessed for high risk due to having factor v Leiden. I'm glad she is being cautious and making sure everything is okay. She said I might just have to be put on blood thinners but if I am classified as high risk I won't be able to deliver in my town and will have to travel to the city to have my baby. I know a lot of people have to travel where I'm from but my husband already works 45 mintes away. Anyways does anyone have factor v Leiden and can tell me what your doctor has done for you...and by the way I have never had a problem with it just found out due to it being in my family.
